Did you know there is original indie music available on Etsy? I didn’t until recently. Just about any genre you can think of is represented. Here are a few that looked interesting:

Allison Sattinger’s full length CD blends folk, jazz, gospel and pop for a mere $12. A 3-song pop punk sampler from BIG TOWN SMALL TOWN just $3.

My friend Kieu’s father is Vietnamese American classical composer, Le Van Khoa. His CD is available in her Etsy shop for $15. M.E. Smith and The Farm Noir Ensemble bring us a unique country sound for $15.

What about the kids? How about Go Octopus GO, a $10 poetry/coloring book with sing-along CD? Dave Taylor entertains the older kids with songs about aliens and public transportation. CD is $10 in his Etsy shop.

In addition to CD’s, some of the indie musicians on Etsy offer mp3′s. Most of them direct you to a website to listen to samples of their work before you buy. Take a wander through the music category and see for yourself!
